English summary: As one of the world's leading research libraries, the Bavarian State Library has over the course of 450 years built a collection of 16,700 oriental manuscripts, of which 4,000 are from the Islamic world. Of particular relevance are the acquisitions of the libraries from Johann Albrecht Widmanstetter in 1558 and Etienne Quatremere in 1858, but also the acquisitions of the last 40 years. In parallel to the extensive exhibition of masterpieces of Mohammedan art, the Bavarian State Library organized the first large and comprehensive show of Islamic manuscripts in Munich's Prince's Hall with 262 exhibits in the year 1910. For the 100th anniversary of this presentation, the library is once again showing those objects that were on display in 1910 in Prince's Hall, while in the treasury they are showing outstanding new acquisitions from the past 100 years.
